
Working principle of remote control float ball valve(100X/F745X)
Remote control float valves belong to hydraulic control valves,with the core consisting of float sensing water level,pilot valve,and main valve diaphragm pressure difference control.The float does not directly drive the main valve,but remotely controls the opening and closing of the main valve through a fine pressure pipe,achieving automatic water replenishment,full water shut-off,and anti overflow of the water tank/pool.
1、Overall structural composition
Main valve(pipeline main valve body):controls the opening and closing of the main water circuit,with a diaphragm/piston inside,separating the upper control chamber and the lower main flow chamber,and is the main body for water passage.
Float+Pilot Small Float Valve(Pilot Valve):Installed in the water tank,it senses the water level,controls the opening and closing of the control pipeline,and is the signal end.
Pressure guiding pipeline:thin copper tube/hose,connecting the upper chamber of the main valve and the pilot valve,transmitting water pressure(carrier of"remote control").
Auxiliary accessories:needle valves,micro filters,and small globe valves on the pipeline,used for debugging,stabilizing pressure,and preventing impurity blockage.
2、Complete working process(divided into two states)
1.Low water level→Main valve opens,automatic water inlet
The water level in the water tank drops,and the float ball sinks with the water level,driving the connecting rod to open the pilot small float valve(pilot valve).
The pressure water in the control room of the main valve is directly discharged into the water tank through the pressure pipe and the opened pilot valve,and the pressure in the upper chamber is quickly relieved and reduced.
The water pressure at the inlet end of the pipeline below the main valve is greater than the low pressure in the upper control room.The pressure difference lifts the diaphragm and the main valve core,and the main valve is fully opened.A large amount of water from the pipeline enters the pool for replenishment.
2.The water level rises to the set upper limit→the main valve closes and stops water intake
When the water level rises to the set height,the float rises and the connecting rod pushes to close the pilot small float valve,cutting off the drainage channel of the control pipeline.
The high-pressure water in the pipeline network continues to flow through internal small holes and needle valves,slowly filling the control room on the main valve,and the pressure in the upper chamber rapidly increases to approach the water pressure in the pipeline.
The pressure area on the upper side of the diaphragm is larger and the pressure is stronger.When the valve core is pressed downwards,the main valve is completely closed,cutting off the main water circuit,stopping water inflow,and preventing overflow.
3、Summary of Core Principles
Essence:The float ball controls the pilot valve,the pilot valve controls the pressure difference,and the pressure difference controls the main valve.There is no need for external power supply or pure hydraulic drive throughout the entire process.
Different from ordinary float valves:ordinary float valves directly press small valves;The remote-controlled floating ball is separated from the main valve body,can be installed remotely,can be used for large-diameter pipelines,has higher pressure resistance,more stable control,and smoother water control with large flow rates.

The mainstream models 100X and F745X are widely used for automatic liquid level control in high-rise domestic water tanks,fire water tanks,water towers,and large reservoirs.
