800X Differential Pressure Bypass Valve is a self-operated hydraulic control valve developed for closed circulating water systems of central air conditioning and district heating. It is widely applied in chilled water, hot water pipelines of office buildings, shopping centers, hotels and industrial cooling projects. Its core function is to stabilize the differential pressure between supply main pipe and return main pipe, optimize hydraulic balance and ensure safe and stable operation of the whole variable-flow system.
The valve body is cast from high-strength ductile iron with good pressure resistance and impact resistance, standard pressure class PN16 with flanged connection. The valve relies entirely on fluid pressure to realize automatic adjustment, requiring no external power supply. Two sensing tubes are separately connected to the supply and return pipelines to collect pressure signals. The target differential pressure can be preset on site according to engineering design requirements.
Working principle: When numerous terminal electric control valves are closed, the pipeline differential pressure rises above the preset value. The pressure signal acts on the internal actuator to open the valve disc. Excess water flows through the bypass pipeline to balance pressure. If the differential pressure drops below the setting value, the valve gradually closes to reduce bypass flow. Through continuous dynamic adjustment, the differential pressure of the main pipeline is maintained within a stable range, avoiding overpressure impact on water pumps and refrigeration units.
Reasonable configuration of this valve can effectively prevent pump overload, reduce system noise and improve the control accuracy of air conditioning terminals. Standard specifications cover DN40 to DN300. Applicable media include clean water and ethylene glycol antifreeze solution, normal working temperature 0℃~80℃. The valve is installed between supply and return pipes to form a bypass loop.
Installation and operation notes: Installation direction must comply with the flow arrow marked on the valve body. Pressure sampling pipelines should be laid reasonably without distortion or blockage. A Y-type strainer must be installed upstream to prevent dirt from jamming the pilot mechanism. Pressure parameter adjustment should be carried out under normal system operating conditions. This product is a pressure regulating component and cannot replace shut-off valves for pipeline isolation.
All finished valves pass strict shell hydrostatic test and differential pressure regulation test before delivery. Each valve is inspected to ensure sensitive pressure induction and stable control precision. Compared with electric differential pressure regulating valves, the 800X model has lower investment cost and simpler installation without supporting electrical control modules.
