F745X Remote Control Float Valve is a diaphragm pilot-operated hydraulic control valve, widely adopted in domestic water supply tanks, fire protection reservoirs, water treatment stations and industrial water storage systems. Matched with float assembly, it achieves fully automatic water replenishment according to liquid level, realizing unattended operation of water storage facilities.
The valve body is cast from high-strength ductile iron with excellent pressure resistance and structural stability. Standard pressure grades include PN10 and PN16 with flanged connection. The valve adopts advanced diaphragm driving structure. Compared with piston-type float valves, the diaphragm design delivers more flexible opening and closing, lower start-up differential pressure, better sealing performance and longer service life. The whole valve operates by fluid pressure without external power supply.
Working principle: When the water level in the tank drops, the float descends and opens the pilot channel. The pressure inside the main valve control cavity is released, and medium pressure pushes the diaphragm assembly to open the valve, starting water inflow. When the liquid level rises to the preset height, the float rises to cut off the pilot passage. Pressure accumulates in the control chamber, driving the diaphragm to close the valve tightly and stop water supply automatically. Users can conveniently adjust the target water level by modifying the installation height of the float.
This diaphragm structure effectively reduces internal friction and is less prone to jamming caused by tiny impurities. Complete specifications cover DN50 to DN800. Applicable media include tap water, fire service water and clean industrial water, suitable working temperature ranging from 0℃ to 80℃. The main valve is installed outside the water tank pipeline, while the float assembly is placed inside the tank.
Installation and operation precautions: Install strictly following the flow arrow marked on the valve body. A Y-type strainer must be arranged upstream to prevent impurities from blocking the small-bore pilot pipeline. Ensure the float and connecting rod move freely and avoid disturbance from water wave surges. This valve is designed for liquid level on-off control and cannot be used for continuous flow regulation.
All finished valves pass strict shell hydrostatic test, sealing test and float linkage test before delivery. Each unit is inspected to guarantee sensitive diaphragm response and reliable shut-off effect upon reaching set liquid level. It is an upgraded automatic water inlet solution for various water storage projects.
