SYS41H-16C Hand Brush Y-Type Strainer is an advanced inline pipeline filtration device improved on the basis of conventional Y-type strainers. Widely used in circulating water systems, water treatment, HVAC, municipal water supply, industrial cooling pipelines and fire protection systems. It can intercept solid impurities such as rust, sediment and welding slag in fluid to protect downstream pumps, control valves, flow meters and other precision equipment from abrasion and blockage.
The valve body is cast from WCB carbon steel with excellent pressure resistance and structural stability, rated at PN16. Flanged connection is adopted for reliable sealing and convenient on-site installation. The internal core components include stainless steel filter cartridge, rotary cleaning brush assembly and hand crank mechanism. The filter screen can be customized with different mesh numbers according to working conditions to meet various precision filtration demands.
Its biggest advantage lies in online non-stop cleaning. When impurities accumulate on the screen and cause pressure difference to rise, operators only need to open the blowdown valve at the bottom, and rotate the external hand crank several circles. The built-in brush rotates synchronously to sweep dirt off the screen surface, and pollutants are discharged through the blowdown port. The whole cleaning process does not require pipeline shutdown, disassembly of end cover or removal of filter element, greatly shortening maintenance time and improving system continuous operation efficiency.
The flow channel adopts optimized Y-shaped streamlined design, effectively reducing flow resistance and pressure loss. The rotating shaft is equipped with reliable packing sealing structure to prevent medium leakage during brushing operation. It supports both horizontal and vertical installation, bringing flexible layout options for engineering design. Standard specifications cover DN50 ~ DN600, applicable to water, light oil and other non-corrosive liquid media. The applicable temperature range depends on sealing materials, normally within -20℃ ~ 180℃.
Operation precautions: Regularly observe the inlet and outlet pressure difference to judge the pollution degree of filter screen. Avoid long-term operation under excessive pressure difference. Keep the crank rotating smoothly; if jamming occurs, stop cleaning and check for large foreign matter blocking the brush. After blowdown is finished, close the drain valve tightly to avoid medium waste. This strainer cannot be used as shut-off valve. Installation direction must follow the flow arrow marked on the body.
All finished products pass strict shell hydrostatic test and internal function test before delivery. Each set is inspected to guarantee flexible rotation of brush assembly, stable filtering performance and unobstructed blowdown function. Compared with traditional Y strainers requiring disassembly for cleaning, hand brush type significantly lowers labor cost and reduces system downtime loss.
