Magnetic Lock Resilient Seated Gate Valve is a special anti-theft shut-off valve developed for municipal water supply management, community pipe networks and water meter front pipelines. Based on standard resilient seated gate valve structure, it is equipped with a built-in magnetic locking device. The valve can only be opened and closed by a matched dedicated magnetic key, effectively preventing unauthorized random operation, illegal water diversion and arbitrary pipeline switching. It is an indispensable valve product for standardized tap water management.
The valve body and bonnet are cast from high-strength ductile iron QT450-10. Internal and external surfaces are treated with food-grade fusion bonded epoxy powder coating. The coating is non-toxic and meets drinking water transportation requirements, and can resist corrosion from groundwater and humid environment. Adopting flat-bottom full bore inner cavity design, sludge deposition is avoided, flow resistance remains low, and fluid circulation is smooth when the valve is fully open.
The sealing core is an integrally vulcanized EPDM rubber wedge. The fully encapsulated elastic wedge realizes bidirectional bubble-tight zero leakage. Relying on the elastic property of EPDM rubber, the sealing surface can automatically compensate slight abrasion and pipeline micro-deformation generated during long-term operation. Stable sealing performance can still be maintained even if a small amount of fine sediment exists in the pipeline medium.
The most prominent feature is the magnetic locking mechanism. Without the supporting magnetic key, external tools cannot drive the valve stem to rotate. Ordinary wrenches cannot unlock or switch the valve, which greatly reduces management risks for water supply companies. Each set of magnetic lock has independent magnetic matching parameters. Customized unified key management is available for water supply groups to facilitate centralized maintenance by official staff. This magnetic lock structure can be configured on both rising stem and non-rising stem resilient seated gate valves to adapt to indoor installation, valve well and underground buried working conditions.
The valve stem adopts stainless steel rolled thread, equipped with multi-layer packing to prevent medium leakage. Blowout-proof stem structure improves safety under pipeline pressure fluctuation. Standard pressure grades are PN10 and PN16. Nominal diameter covers DN40 to DN300. Flange dimensions can follow GB or DIN standards to match different pipeline systems. Manual operation is standard; electric actuator can be selected according to project demands.
It should be noted that the valve is only suitable for fully open or fully closed working conditions. Throttling service is forbidden. Long-term partial opening will cause high-speed medium scouring and damage the rubber wedge. All finished valves pass shell hydrostatic test and seat tightness test according to ISO 5208 before delivery.
Compared with ordinary resilient seated gate valves, the magnetic lock version adds reliable anti-tamper function.
