Lockable Metal Seated Gate Valve is developed on the basis of standard metal seated wedge gate valve,fitted with integrated locking mechanism to lock the valve at fully open or fully closed position.It prevents unauthorized operation,random switching and malicious adjustment of pipelines,widely applied in heat supply networks,industrial steam pipelines,gas transmission systems,chemical plants and municipal energy pipeline management projects.Combining high temperature resistance of metal hard sealing and anti-tamper locking function,this valve becomes an ideal shut-off solution for pipelines requiring strict operation management.
The valve adopts metal-to-metal hard sealing structure.The sealing surfaces are hardfaced with Stellite alloy or overlay welding wear-resistant alloy after precision machining.The sealing pair features outstanding high temperature resistance,abrasion resistance and scour resistance,which can stably work under high temperature steam,fuel oil,natural gas and non-corrosive industrial media.The applicable temperature range is far wider than resilient seated gate valves with rubber sealing elements,suitable for long-term operation under fluctuating working temperature.Flexible wedge,rigid single wedge and double wedge structures are optional to adapt to thermal expansion and contraction of pipelines and guarantee stable sealing performance under variable pressure.
Multiple body materials can be selected:WCB carbon steel,WC6 alloy steel,CF8/CF8M stainless steel and ductile iron.Connection ends cover flanged RF,butt weld and threaded types.The product can be manufactured in accordance with GB,API 600,DIN and ASME standards.Pressure grades include PN16~PN100,Class150~Class1500,meeting demands of medium and high pressure industrial working conditions.Two stem configurations are available:outside screw&yoke rising stem(OS&Y)and non-rising stem(NRS).The OS&Y type can directly display opening status for convenient field inspection.
The core highlight is the built-in locking assembly.After manually adjusting the valve to the target position,operators can activate the lock device to fix the stem,so external personnel cannot open or close the valve without special tools.This effectively avoids safety risks and economic losses caused by misoperation or illegal pipeline control.The valve stem is made of alloy steel or stainless steel,matched with high-temperature resistant graphite packing to stop medium leakage.Blowout-proof stem design greatly improves safety under sudden pipeline pressure surges.Manual handwheel operation is standard;bevel gear and electric actuators can be configured according to project requirements.
Similar to ordinary metal seated gate valves,this lockable model can only operate at fully open or fully closed status.Throttling service is strictly forbidden.Partial opening will lead to high-speed medium scouring,causing permanent abrasion on metal sealing surfaces.All finished valves pass shell hydrostatic test and seat tightness test complying with ISO 5208 before shipment.
