Signal Metal Seated Gate Valve is developed based on conventional metal seated wedge gate valve, equipped with built-in signal feedback device. While realizing pipeline cut-off function, it can transmit electric signals to remote control system to feed back the real-time fully open or fully closed state of the valve. Widely used in heating pipe networks, industrial steam pipelines, fire protection systems, chemical and energy engineering projects, especially suitable for automatic monitoring and intelligent pipe network management.
The valve adopts mature metal-to-metal hard sealing structure. Sealing surfaces are precision machined and hardfaced with Stellite alloy. The sealing pair features excellent high temperature resistance, wear resistance and scour resistance, capable of stable operation with high-temperature steam, fuel oil, gas and non-corrosive industrial media. Flexible wedge, rigid wedge and double wedge structures are optional. Flexible wedge can absorb thermal expansion deformation under temperature variation and maintain reliable sealing performance under fluctuating pressure.
Multiple material options can meet different working conditions. Valve body materials include WCB carbon steel, WC6 alloy steel, CF8/CF8M stainless steel and ductile iron. Connection types cover flanged RF, butt weld and threaded ends. The valve can be produced in accordance with GB, API 600, DIN and ASME standards. Pressure grades range from PN16 to PN100 and Class150 to Class1500. Both non-rising stem (NRS) and outside screw & yoke rising stem (OS&Y) configurations are available to adapt to confined valve pits, indoor pump rooms and above-ground pipeline layout.
The most distinctive advantage lies in the signal indication module. When operators manually switch the valve to fully open or fully closed position, the built-in limit switch will be triggered immediately and output switching signals to PLC, control cabinet or monitoring platform. Managers can remotely view valve status without on-site inspection, greatly improving the automation level of pipe network. The signal assembly is compactly installed on the upper part of valve bonnet with stable structure, good vibration resistance and long service life. Users can select normally open or normally closed contact according to control scheme requirements.
The valve stem is manufactured from alloy steel or stainless steel, matched with high temperature resistant graphite packing to prevent medium leakage. Blowout-proof stem structure effectively avoids safety risks caused by sudden pipeline pressure fluctuation. Standard operation mode is manual handwheel; bevel gear driving device can be configured for large diameter specifications.
Same as ordinary metal seated gate valves, signal metal seated gate valve only supports fully open or fully closed operation. Throttling is strictly forbidden. Long-term partial opening will lead to medium scouring and irreversible abrasion on metal sealing surfaces. All finished valves pass shell hydrostatic test and seat tightness test complying with ISO 5208 before delivery, and each set of signal device will complete repeated switching test to guarantee accurate signal transmission.
