
Before installing the grooved butterfly valve,carefully inspect the valve body,disc,seal ring and grooved interface to ensure there is no damage,deformation or impurities on the surface.Check the pipeline size and pressure rating to confirm that the valve specifications match the working conditions of the pipeline system.
First,clean the inner wall of the pipeline and the grooved ends of pipe fittings thoroughly to remove rust,welding slag,sediment and other debris,which will avoid damage to the valve seat seal during operation.The grooved butterfly valve is installed between two grooved pipe sections.Align the valve grooved interface with the pipeline groove,and make sure the valve body is placed horizontally with correct orientation.The flow direction mark on the valve body shall be consistent with the medium flow direction inside the pipeline.
During assembly,install the rubber coupling and hoop clamp evenly.Fasten the bolts of the clamp symmetrically and gradually with equal force to prevent uneven compression and air or water leakage.Do not install the valve in an inverted or excessively inclined state,and keep a sufficient straight pipe section at both ends of the valve to guarantee stable flow regulation and sealing performance.
After installation,conduct a pressure test on the pipeline system.Slowly raise the pressure to the rated working pressure,check all connecting parts for leakage,and test the opening and closing flexibility of the valve.Ensure the valve disc can rotate smoothly without jamming,abnormal noise or inflexible operation.
In daily installation construction,avoid excessive external force extrusion on the valve body.Keep away from severe vibration,high temperature radiation and corrosive environment.Regularly check the fastening condition of clamps and the tightness of the sealing ring after operation to extend the service life of the grooved butterfly valve.
