Silent Check Valve

Silent Check Valve, also known as non-slam check valve, is an automatic one-way protection valve widely installed at pump outlets of municipal water supply, building water supply, HVAC circulating water, water treatment plants and industrial fluid systems. Its core function is to prevent medium backflow after pump shutdown, effectively eliminate water hammer impact and reduce pipeline vibration and noise, which is essential pipeline safety equipment.

The valve body is cast from high-strength ductile iron with excellent pressure resistance and impact toughness. The internal moving parts adopt streamlined design. When the pump starts, fluid pushes the valve disc to open smoothly; once the pump stops and medium reverses, the valve disc closes rapidly in a cushioned way. The special buffer structure avoids violent impact between disc and valve seat, greatly lowering operation noise and protecting pipelines, water pumps and other equipment from damage caused by water hammer.

The sealing surface adopts elastic soft seal structure. Under rated pressure, it achieves tight shut-off and prevents medium leakage. The internal spring is made of high-quality stainless steel, featuring stable elasticity, fatigue resistance and long service life. The whole valve has compact layout, small overall size and convenient installation. It supports both horizontal and vertical pipeline installation, bringing great flexibility for engineering layout.

Standard pressure grades cover PN10 and PN16. Complete specifications range from DN50 to DN600. This valve is mainly applicable to clean water media such as tap water, cooling circulating water and fire service water. Users can select different sealing materials according to actual working temperature and medium characteristics.

It should be noted that silent check valve belongs to automatic one-way valve and cannot be used as cut-off valve. The installation direction must strictly follow the flow direction mark on the valve body. Reverse installation will lead to failure to open and normal pipeline operation cannot be guaranteed. Regular inspection is recommended to check the spring elasticity and sealing surface condition to maintain stable working performance.

All finished valves pass strict shell hydrostatic test and sealing test before delivery. Every product is inspected to ensure sensitive opening/closing action and reliable sealing performance. Compared with swing check valve and lift check valve, silent check valve has prominent advantages in noise reduction and water hammer suppression, effectively extending the service life of supporting pumps and pipelines.
